Registration to the 2010 International Historical European Martial Arts Gathering is now closed

Registered delegates will benefit from an illimited access to all the features of the event, inlcuding accomodation, Saturday night Dinner, and several extra features.

Registration ended on April 4th, 2010.

It is however still possible to register for a limited access to the event (ie no accomodation, no Satudray night dinnerr, no extra features), at a cost of 25 euros per day : please contact us for more information.

If you want to attend this event, please read carefully the following information and disclaimers :

 

Warning on safety and required equipment :

Delegates must ensure they possess the necessary equipment to take part in the many proposed events:

- Clothing and sport shoes adapted to indoor and outdoor use (one pair for each use).

- Wood, metal or plastics training weapons (no sharp weapon or decoration weapon; only weapons of the same type shall be used by training partners – ie metal vs. metal, wood vs. wood) adapted to the workshops (dagger, short sword, long sword, etc..).

- Protective gear are obviously highly recommended (fencing mask, groin guard, gloves, etc..).

The hosts will not provide any training weapon or protective equipment.

All unsafe or uncautious behaviour will immediatly result in the exclusion of the perpetrator from the entire event and bonus activities – without refund.

All Instructors will be entitled to judge of such behaviours and take the necessary sanctions.

Important : Several workshops will be aimed at advanced HEMA practitionners. Instructors will have the possibility to exclude from their workshops people not showing the required level of advancement and understanding of HEMA, without any possible protest.

 

Information on the fee :

Registration fee covers accomodation (4 nights, counting on an arrival on the Wednesday and departure on Sunday - possibility exists to register for an extra night, ie Sunday to Monday, for a 25 euros supplement), participation to all activities (lectures, workshops/classes, demonstrations), "extras" and dinner on Saturday night (May 8th, 2010) (see links on the right). This fee cannot be reduced, even if your dates of arrival and departure are not those mentionned here above.

However, a special fee is offered to instructors/lectuerers/demonstrators (one per class/lecture/demonstration only) and to people in financial need (such as people coming from low income countries). The number of such fees is limited, so please get in touch with us.

We offer the possibility to pay in two separate payments, by bank transfer or paypal. All details are mentionned on the registration fee. Please carefully follow the instructions therein.

 

For participants registering after April 4th 2010, a special fee of 25 euros per day is asked. However, such particpants will only have a limited offer (ie no acomodation included, no "welcome package", no Saturday night dinner). Please contact us for more details.

 

 

Accomodation :

Like every year, we tried to provide the greater number free accomodation in Dijon. However, the amount of people who benefit of this offer depends on many uncontrolled factors. Nevertheless, we tried to accomodate as many people as possible, priority being given to those registering early, and to those financially in need. For the 2010 event, this number has been only reserved to people registering before April 4th 2010.
